Lego Club
Friday, October 1 @ 6:30 pm
Join the Club! Drop in to build with our library Legos, or bring your own models to show off. As always, shared library Legos will be kept separate from club-member creations, so there's no need to worry about losing your personal Lego supply. Enjoy this free-building time with other Lego-maniacs, and help choose themes for upcoming Lego programs. Open to kids in grades 2-6.

Display Your Gingerbread House at the Library
Download your entry form here or pick one up at GPL; completed forms due November 19
Gingerbread Houses due November 30
Ever since the Brothers Grimm published the fairy tale Hansel and
Gretel in the 19th century, children and their families have been
dreaming of candy-covered gingerbread houses. Help celebrate
this tradition with an exhibition of gingerbread houses in the
library’s lobby display cases! Here's a downloadable entry form; it provides all the information you need.
Happy building, and let's keep the snitching of the gingerbread batter to a minimum; it just reduces the size of your gingerbread house. Build your yummy dreamhouse with friends,
family, scout troops, co-workers, anyone you want to work with.
Register your entry by returning the entry form by Friday,
November 19. Entries should be ready for drop-off beginning Tuesday, November 30.

Open to students in grades K-2. Registration begins on November 1 for Guilderland School District residents, and continues on November 4 for all others.
