Berne Historical Project
The Berne Historical Project began in 2001 as a means of sharing the history and genealogy of the people of Berne, NY. This volunteer effort offers an amazing amount of information for historians and genealogists alike.
 
Canadian Genealogy Centre
This site allows users to search the National Archives of Canada, National Library of Canada, and the Genealogy Centre.
 
FamilySearch
One of the largest genealogical databases in the world.

Genealogical Research System from the Daughters of the American Revolution
The Genealogical Research System (GRS) from the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) is a collection of databases containing materials collected since the DAR's inception in 1890. Researchers can search for DAR Revoltionary War ancestors; access the Genealogical Records Committe database, which includes an index of books housed in the DAR library; access the DAR library catalog and other resources of interest.
 
GENUKI
GENUKI (Genealogy of the United Kingdom and Ireland) is a collection of genealogical information pages covering England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Channel Islands, and the Isle of Man.
 
Heritage Quest
Heritage Quest Logo Includes ProQuest's Genealogy & Local History Collection, U.S. Federal Census records from 1790-1930, Freedman's Bank Records, Revolutionary War Pension and Bounty Land Warrant Application Files, and more.

This collection includes 200,000 high-resolution, full color historic maps dating from the 15th century to the present.

Jewish Data Logo This database has over 100,000 records including images of tombstones, school yearbook pages and Citizen Declaration documents.

inGeneas
This database allows users to search for Canadian genealogy records including passenger, immigration, census, vital statistic, land, military and miscellaneous records from the mid-1700s to the early 1900s.
 
Library of Congress - The American Folklife Center
Cultural documentation of regional, ethnic, and cultural groups within the United States and worldwide, including songs, images, sounds, and written accounts of daily lives, arduous events, community celebrations and traditions.
 
Library of Congress - Prints and Photographs Reading Room
Images of more than 13.7 million prints and photographs documenting the lives and achievements of the American people. Architectural and engineering drawings, as well as popular and fine prints and posters are included in this collection.
 
NewEnglandAncestors.org
The website of the New England Historic Genealogical Society has collections of New England resources as well as New York research tools, including databases, articles, manuscripts and publications. NEHGS offers access to more than 110 million names in their databases for family research. This site provides a wealth of information and support for genealogists of all skill levels.


Palatines to America
Palatines to America (Pal Am) is a national genealogical society of persons researching German-speaking ancestry, with emphasis on migration from the Germanic regions of Europe to North America (primarily the United States and Canada).
Come to the Information Desk at the Library for additional access.


RootsWeb
