Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a way to request items not owned by a library in the Upper Hudson Library System (UHLS). Interlibrary loan requests will be honored if the patron’s home library is Guilderland. All other patrons requesting interlibrary loans will be referred to their home library.
Copyright laws and lending institution policies and procedures take precedence over Guilderland’s guidelines. UHLS patrons in good standing may request items through interlibrary loan. Most requests are filled in 2 to 4 weeks. The library does not charge for this service.
