Interlibrary loan (ILL) is a way to request items not owned by a library in the Upper Hudson Library System. ILL requests may be submitted in person, by phone, and online to ILL Librarian Maria Buhl. Find out more about our ILL borrowing guidelines here.

Outreach

Can't make it to the Library? Maybe you've had surgery, or don't drive anymore. Don't throw that card away! Sign up for our Homebound service and we bring the books to you. Make selections or let us pick for you, and volunteers deliver your books once a month. WiFi in the Library

Take advantage of the free wireless service in the Library. Two wireless laptops are available for use on-site. Wireless cards are also available if your laptop is not wireless ready. Questions? Stop by the Adult Reference desk.

Computer Coaching

Instead of offering one-size-fits-all computer classes, we think you’ll like our coaching program. Our coaches meet with you one-on-one and you decide the day’s lesson. To schedule an appointment, call Adult Reference at 456-2400 x7.

Study Rooms

Do you need a quiet room to study by yourself or with a small group? We have study rooms available to those who need them. The Study Room Policy is available here. Sign up in person or by calling Adult Reference at 456-2400 x 7.

Accessibility Services

The Library offers various tools to aid those with special needs. For the visually impaired, ZoomText is installed on each public computer. We also have Video-Eye magnification equipment. For patrons with limited mobility, the Library has ergonomic mice, adjustable-height desks, and a catalog computer equipped with a large-key keyboard.
