Goodreads is a free site for book lovers…Wander through and see bookshelves, reviews, and ratings from others. Post your own reviews and catalog what you have read, are currently reading, and plan to read in the future. Don’t stop there – join a discussion group, start a book club, contact an author, and even post your own writing.

Library Thing is an online service to help people catalog their books easily and connect with others who read the same things.

Fantastic Fiction has complete bibliographies for over 25,000 authors. This is an especially good resource for finding more information on mystery, thriller, science fiction and fantasy series. Have you found a book you really like and want to know what comes next in the series? This is the site for you.

"If You Like" Author Search from the Hennepin County Public Library is a great resource for finding new authors and books. Just type in one of your favorite authors, and get a list of others you'll like!

Leonard Maltin’s Movie Crazy is a great source of news and reviews.
